This is a great image! I think your composition is just about perfect on this picture. The way the lighting comes in at a low angle and plays on the leaves on the foreground is nicely balanced with the intense light hitting the trees in the background. The sky and clouds are nicely balanced too; neither too light nor too dark.

The tones that the grass picks up complement the colours in rest of the image. You have nice fall-off in the corners, without losing the shadow details to almost produce a nature vignette. It almost looks like a classical oil painting. Well done!

There is always something about pictures of paths or roads that intrigue me. Barbroute has managed to capture the mysteriousness and beauty of one such example without falling into the cliche category.

The light which bleeds from the centre of the image focuses the viewer's eyes to the last part of the path which can still be seen. This causes the viewer to wonder about the end of the path which is inevitably what the aim is in photos such as these.

The beautiful and raw autumn colours only seem to enhance the wonderland feel that this shot captures impeccably.

I hope that Barbroute will continue to grace the deviantart community with more of his mind blowing captures!

absolutely gorgeous! I am led down this path. The colors are so rich and warm. The "glow factor" adds a M. Parrish feel.
